There is much more to washing and waxing when it comes to cleaning and protecting your car.
If you care about your car’s exterior, you’ll avoid those quickie car washes with the big brushes that can do more harm than good and do a DIY car wash that will achieve the best results.
Most people that a wash and wax is the best way to keep their car shiny and clean. Their heart is in the right place, but there is much more to washing a car than those two things. We’ll go through the proper way to wash your car and maintain a clean exterior.
- Washing your car – Washing your car will remove dirt, dust and mud from the exterior. Always start with a wetting the surface of your car with a garden hose or a pressure spray if you have one. Always use a quality car washing soap such as WASH’N’WAX. Do not use dishwashing liquids or detergents as this will damage your car’s exterior and always use cleaning mitts or cloth.
2. Cleaning the windows – Where possible stay clear of ammonia based window cleaners, especially if your car’s windows are tinted. Ammonia will break down the window tint film. Instead try our streak free Window Cleaner.
3. Cleaning your car’s interior – There are so many interior care cleaning products on the market that choosing one is very difficult. Some of these products are very expensive and over priced.
